About Me
I am currently a senior at Indiana University Indianapolis pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management. I have developed a strong interest in healthcare operations and improving patient experiences through my academic coursework and hands-on experience in healthcare and administrative roles.
I am known for being organized, dependable, and detail-oriented, with a natural ability to take initiative and keep things on track. I enjoy solving problems, improving efficiency, and supporting teams in fast-paced environments. My goal is to become a Healthcare Administrator or Healthcare Analyst where I can contribute to improving healthcare systems, supporting staff, and enhancing patient care.
Why Health Services Management?
I chose Health Services Management because I’ve always been interested in the behind-the-scenes side of healthcare rather than direct patient care. I like understanding how systems work, how decisions are made, and how those decisions impact both patients and staff.
Throughout my coursework and experiences, I realized I enjoy improving organization, solving workflow issues, and helping teams run more efficiently. This major aligns with my strengths in leadership, structure, and problem-solving, and it allows me to make a meaningful impact in healthcare.
