Career Goals
As I transition out of college, my main goal is to begin my career in a larger healthcare organization, preferably within a nonprofit system such as Eskenazi Health or IU Health. I am interested in starting in an entry-level administrative or coordination role that will allow me to gain hands-on experience, grow within the organization, and build a strong foundation in healthcare operations.
I understand that entering the healthcare field may take time, so I am also open to continuing my current role at my family’s business, Diamond Pest Control, where I can continue developing my administrative and organizational skills. This allows me to stay productive and continue growing professionally while actively working toward securing a role in healthcare.
Professional Development Goals
At this stage in my life, I am focused on gaining real-world experience rather than continuing directly into graduate school. While I am not currently planning to pursue a Master of Health Administration (MHA), I am open to completing certifications or professional development opportunities that will strengthen my qualifications and support my long-term career growth in healthcare.
I want to continue building skills in communication, leadership, and healthcare operations while learning directly from real work environments. My goal is to grow into a role where I can contribute to improving efficiency, supporting healthcare teams, and enhancing patient experiences.
Personal Growth & Lifelong Learning
In addition to my professional goals, I am focused on personal growth and becoming more disciplined in my daily habits. One of my goals is to read more consistently and expand my knowledge outside of the classroom. I recently obtained a library card, and I want to take advantage of that by exploring books that support both personal and professional development.
Overall, my focus moving forward is to continue learning, gaining experience, and growing into a well-rounded professional. I am motivated to build a stable and successful future while remaining open to new opportunities and experiences that will help shape my career.
