Healthcare Ethics News Broadcast Project

Description of Assignment:
For this project, my group created a news-style broadcast focused on health equity and how changes in healthcare policy impact access to care. I served as the Policy Reporter, where I analyzed federal funding changes, policy shifts, and their effects on underserved populations.

What I Learned & Why It Was Meaningful:

This assignment helped me understand how healthcare policy decisions directly impact real people, especially vulnerable populations. It pushed me to think critically about ethical responsibilities in healthcare and how organizations must respond even when policies or funding change.

It was meaningful to me because I had to take complex ideas and explain them in a clear and understandable way. I also learned how to apply ethical thinking when there is no clear answer, which is something I know I will face in my future career.
